At Haventri, we are committed to providing compassionate, respectful, and dependable care for every client and family we serve.
Our policies are designed to provide clarity, maintain safe and professional care, and ensure a positive experience for both our clients and caregivers.
Please review the policies below carefully. Policies may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in our services, practices, or applicable requirements.

Every client is unique, which is why we provide services based on an individualized care plan.
Before services begin, Haventri works with the client and/or their authorized representative to understand their needs, preferences, routines, and goals.
Services are provided according to the agreed-upon care plan and scheduled hours.
Non-Medical Services
Haventri provides non-medical home care and personal support.
Our services may include:
Personal care
Companion care
Dementia & Alzheimer's care
Respite care
Post-surgery recovery support
Meal preparation
Light housekeeping
Laundry
Errands and shopping
Transportation assistance
Social companionship
Our caregivers do not provide medical diagnosis, medical treatment, or services that require a licensed healthcare professional.
Changes in Care Needs
If a client's needs change, please notify Haventri as soon as possible.
A reassessment may be necessary to determine whether the current care plan and services remain appropriate.
Additional services or changes to the care schedule may require an updated service agreement or care plan.

Scheduled Services
Caregivers are scheduled according to the agreed-upon schedule in the client's service agreement.
We ask clients and families to provide as much notice as possible when a schedule needs to change.
Cancellations
We understand that unexpected situations happen.
If you need to cancel or change a scheduled shift, please contact Haventri as soon as possible.
Cancellation fees or other applicable charges are based on the terms of your signed Service Agreement.
Caregiver Schedule Changes
Haventri may occasionally need to adjust a caregiver's schedule due to illness, emergencies, availability, or other circumstances.
When a change is necessary, we will make reasonable efforts to communicate with the client or authorized family representative and arrange an appropriate replacement when possible.

Professional Conduct
Our caregivers are expected to provide care with professionalism, compassion, patience, and respect.
Caregivers are expected to:
Arrive on time and prepared for their shift.
Follow the client's care plan.
Respect the client's privacy and personal preferences.
Maintain professional boundaries.
Treat the client's home and belongings with care.
Communicate concerns to Haventri.
Complete required documentation.
Perform only authorized non-medical duties.
Professional Boundaries
Caregivers must maintain appropriate professional boundaries with clients.
Caregivers may not:
Borrow money from clients.
Request money, loans, or personal favors.
Use client financial accounts without authorization.
Become involved in a client's personal financial affairs.
Use client property for personal purposes.
Bring unauthorized guests to a client's home.
Conduct personal business during paid care hours.
Develop inappropriate personal or financial relationships with clients.

Caregivers should not request gifts, money, tips, loans, or other personal benefits from clients.
Any gifts offered by a client should be handled according to Haventri's internal policies.

Emergencies
If a client experiences a life-threatening emergency, the caregiver should call 911 immediately.
Haventri should then be notified as soon as reasonably possible.
Caregivers are not expected to provide medical treatment outside the scope of their authorized duties.
Falls & Injuries
Any fall, injury, accident, or significant safety incident should be reported to Haventri promptly.
Depending on the circumstances, emergency services or the client's emergency contact may also need to be contacted.
Unsafe Conditions
Haventri is committed to maintaining a safe environment for clients and caregivers.
If a home presents a serious or unreasonable safety risk, Haventri may need to discuss safety improvements with the client or family before services can continue.

Client Information
We respect the privacy of every client and family.
Client information is treated as confidential and is used only for appropriate purposes related to providing and coordinating care or as otherwise permitted or required by law.
Photos & Social Media
Caregivers may not photograph, record, or post information about clients, their homes, or their personal circumstances on social media without appropriate authorization.
Confidentiality
Caregivers and staff are expected to maintain confidentiality during and after their relationship with Haventri.

Every Haventri client has the right to:
Be treated with dignity and respect.
Participate in planning their care.
Receive information about their services.
Have their privacy respected.
Have their property treated with care.
Ask questions about their care.
Raise concerns or complaints.
Request changes to their care plan.
Receive services without unlawful discrimination.
Be free from abuse, neglect, exploitation, intimidation, or retaliation.

To help us provide safe and effective care, clients and families are expected to:
Provide accurate information about the client's needs.
Inform Haventri of significant changes in the client's condition or circumstances.
Treat caregivers respectfully.
Provide a reasonably safe working environment.
Follow the terms of the Service Agreement.
Provide accurate emergency contact information.
Communicate schedule changes as early as possible.
Inform Haventri of concerns regarding services or caregivers.

Service Rates
Service rates, minimum hours, billing schedules, and payment terms are outlined in the client's Service Agreement.
Payment
Clients are responsible for payment according to the terms agreed upon with Haventri. We accept Bank Transfer, Credit Card/Debit Card, and CASH.
Any questions regarding an invoice or charge should be directed to our office as soon as possible.
Rate Changes
Haventri may update service rates when necessary.
Clients will receive appropriate notice of any changes before the new rate takes effect.

We will listen to your concern and take appropriate steps to review and address it.
Clients will not be retaliated against for raising a good-faith concern or complaint.
Reporting Abuse or Neglect
Haventri has a zero-tolerance approach to abuse, neglect, exploitation, or mistreatment.
Any concern involving the safety or well-being of a client will be taken seriously and handled in accordance with applicable laws and reporting requirements.

Changes to Services
A client's needs may change over time.
Haventri may review the care plan when there is a significant change in the client's needs, requested services, schedule, or safety circumstances.
Ending Services
Services may be discontinued by the client or Haventri according to the terms of the Service Agreement.
Haventri may also discontinue services when:
Requested services fall outside our scope.
The client's needs require a level of medical care we cannot provide.
There is a serious or ongoing safety concern.
A caregiver is subjected to threatening, abusive, or inappropriate behavior.
The terms of the Service Agreement are not followed.
Whenever possible, Haventri will communicate concerns with the client or authorized representative and discuss appropriate next steps.
